Choosing a new kitchen involves more than selecting beautiful cabinetry and high-quality appliances. For many homeowners, the real question comes after installation: how do you truly make the most of the technology in a modern kitchen? At KF Kitchens’ award-winning showroom at Faraday Mill, the answer comes through their much-anticipated NEFF Cooking Days.
Held around four times a year, these relaxed afternoon events are exclusively for customers who have purchased through KF Kitchens. Hosted by Nathan and Derinda Damarell — and supported by the wider Damarell family — the sessions are designed to show customers exactly how their new appliances work in real life, helping them unlock features that many people never realise their ovens and hobs can do.
With around twenty guests attending each event, the atmosphere is friendly and
informal. Demonstrations take place in the live kitchen displays within the showroom, with the appliances working exactly as they would in a customer’s own home. Everything that is cooked is shared and enjoyed by those attending — after all, learning to cook with new appliances would hardly be the same without tasting the results.
The oven demonstrations often begin with dishes that showcase the benefits of NEFF’s Added-Steam technology. A roast lamb cooked with controlled bursts of steam shows how the feature helps retain moisture and flavour while achieving beautifully crisp results on the outside. Toasties prepared using the oven’s Air Fry function often surprise customers who hadn’t realised their oven could replace several countertop appliances, whilst desserts such as a white chocolate and apricot traybake baked in the combi - microwave highlight how combination cooking can dramatically reduce cooking times whilst maintaining excellent texture and flavour.
The NEFF Venting Hob demonstrations are equally popular. Using the
complimentary induction pans supplied with each hob, Nathan and Derinda show how flexible the cooking surface can be. A no-stir risotto prepared using NEFF’s Fry Sensor technology demonstrates how the hob can precisely regulate temperature, allowing the dish to cook evenly without constant stirring. Arancini balls are another favourite, with the slimmer induction pan used as a compact deep-fat fryer — something many customers would never have thought possible before seeing it in action. Pasta dishes and other one-pan recipes further illustrate how the hob’s Flex Induction zones and automated sensors simplify cooking while delivering consistently excellent results.

For Nathan and Derinda, these events are about far more than cooking
demonstrations. They are part of KF Kitchens’ wider philosophy of supporting
customers long after the design and installation stages are complete. By helping homeowners feel confident using their new appliances, the business ensures every kitchen they install performs exactly as intended.
This commitment to customer experience is one of the reasons KF Kitchens received both the KBSA Customer Service Award and the BKU Customer Service Award
in 2025. The cooking days form a small but important part of that approach, turning the kitchen showroom into a place where customers continue learning long after their project is finished.
The popularity of the demonstrations also reflects the value many customers have received through NEFF’s current cashback promotion, which runs on kitchen deposits paid until 10 April 2026. Depending on the number of appliances selected, homeowners can receive up to £1,000 cashback, with additional rewards available for key appliances such as the NEFF Venting Hob and extra-wide fridge freezers.
In some cases, customers can receive as much as £1,750 in total cashback, allowing them to secure top-of-the-range NEFF appliances at far more accessible prices.
The most recent NEFF Cooking Day took place in March 2026, with another series of events planned throughout the year as newly installed kitchens are completed.
While attendance is reserved for KF Kitchens customers, the events highlight the
level of care and after-sales support the company provides.
For customers of KF Kitchens, however, the biggest reward comes later: an invitation back to the showroom to cook, learn, and enjoy great food together— turning impressive appliances into tools they use with confidence every day.
