They will still be offering ‘Walk Up’ fares, subject to availability.

Not only are they affordable, but they also now operate with modern, large-capacity vehicles with the added options of reserved seating and extra legroom seats for customers that want that little extra benefit. The coaches have onboard Wi-Fi, charging points and the coach tracker service which allows you and your family and friends to track where your coach is, and its expected arrival time taking into account ‘live traffic’ conditions.

Travel has been made easy with over 90 destinations throughout the UK, with both direct services to many locations and connected services which opens up even more opportunities to travel around the UK.
Not only are coaches a more cost-effective way of travel, they are also the most environmentally friendly way to get from A to B, with the only exceptions being walking or cycling. Coaches can hold a large number of passengers and produce the lowest rate of Nitrogen Oxide of all modes of transport.

Similar to most transport fares, the prices are not set and do fluctuate depending on how busy a service is and how soon you book before your scheduled trip. Advanced fares from Plymouth to Exeter start from £8, and a trip from Plymouth to London starts from around £20. Although megabus offers great value fares for everyone, if you’re a student and hold a TOTUM card, you are eligible for 10% off when booking online. Child tickets are also 10% off. On the Plymouth to Bristol service, they also have a range of tickets available for customers paying the driver at the time of departure with discounted return journeys and group travel tickets being available.

megabus operates a frequent service which varies depending on many things such as events, bank holidays and school holidays. The number of services increases on Thursday-Monday compared to mid-week due to higher demand, however, they currently have 20 journeys a day departing from Plymouth which makes travelling with megabus a great option for both shorter shopping trips and also longer weekends away.
